Robinson Mugo, the CTCN Africa Manager of Climate Technology Centre and Network, revealed to “Environment News” that the project has more than 40 policymakers and climate technology leaders participating.
The purpose of this week’s gathering of leaders across Africa is to strengthen national systems and accelerate climate technology solutions for resilience and access.
According to his speech, they are here to advocate for technological and network innovation.
Regarding CTCN, Robinson explained that the full form of CTCN is the Climate Technology Centre and Network. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Technology Mechanism has an operational arm that aids developing countries in accelerating the development and transfer of environmentally sound technologies for low-carbon and climate-resilient development.
