The Blue Eco Forum 2020 “ Towards a Blue Solidarity Economy For A Sustainable Mediterranean” was launched online yesterday with the participation of Representatives of local authorities (communities/ city/ regional) , Actors of the Blue Economy, actors of the Solidarity Economy & professionals and citizens interested in social and environmental sustainability and euro-Mediterranean affairs.
The objectives of this event organized by Eco-union and IESMED are mainly to:

Raise awareness among public and private actors of the opportunities for sustainable economic growth linked to the Blue Solidarity Economy in Catalonia and the Mediterranean

Disseminate the measures and actions being carried out in Catalonia and other Euro-Mediterranean regions to promote SBE

Engage public bodies and social agents in the development of policies and programmes to promote SBE
