International Day Of Jaguar does exist !

The international day of Jaguar was first announced by The UNDP (UN Development Program), WWF, WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society) and Panthera, on the 29th of November 2018 , in the biodiversity Summit in Egypt.  This annual event aims to raise awareness towards the threats faced by this resilient & leader of biodiversity conservation species. A whole movement has been created ever since to protect “the wild cat”, with an increasing number of conservations & a massive North American support. All this hard work to preserve the Jaguar has paid off, as per a 2020 research, jaguar populations are growing steadily at WCS sites, averaging a 6.1% increase per year.
