World AIDS day is an annual event which is held every year on the 1st of December in order to raise awareness, show support to people with this pandemic & commemorate those who died from it.
Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day marked by the World Health Organization seeking to unite participants around this cause by wearing an HIV awareness red ribbon on the day and collecting donations.
